Three fun facts that I could do when I go to Waitangi/Summer learning journey
fact 1:You can go look at the treaty when you go to waitangi fact 2:You can go visit the small semi garden that surrounds the treaty house. fact 3:You can go to the resevers with there is a restaurant so you can go eat when your hungry
My name is Rachel and I am working with Nicky this year on the Summer Learning Journey programme. I am so happy to see that you are working so hard this summer and that you've posted seven blogs already. Way to go!
After reading your blog post about Waitangi I am thinking that I might try to take my son, Aronui, up north next year to visit the treaty grounds. I had the chance to visit once before but it was many years ago and I didn't have the chance to try out the restaurant. The next time that I go I will definitely walk through the garden that surrounds the house and stop for a cup of tea and a scone at the restaurant.
If you were able to visit Waitangi, what would you do? Would you go to the restaurant as well?
